Marc Jacobs wanted to become a designer since he was a little boy. During his adolescence he worked in New York, in a much respected store, Charivari.
Here he met many designers that taught him to have a personal concept on the fashion design.
Marc Jacobs began learning the art of fashion design at “High School for Art and Design” till 1981, then at “Parsons School of Art and Design”.
The year 1997 brought Marc Jacobs the great challenge of his life and he began working as a director of creation for Louis Vuitton.
Nowadays Louis Vuitton and Marc by Marc Jacobs are the representatives
of the avant-garde fashion and the distinct marks of the perfect good taste.
