Emma Watson is to be the new face of Chanel perfume, Coco Mademoiselle. The 18-year-old actress will take over from Keira Knightely, 23, when her contract ends this summer.

Watson has signed a two-year contract worth around $ 4 million and she will have access to all of the Chanel collections.

Lately Emma has developed an interest in designer fashion. She has recently signed up by the model agency Storm in an attempt to branch out from acting.

At the premiers for the Harry Potter series, she showed up on the red carpet wearing a different Chanel dress each time.

It is clear that for Chanel it is important to target a young audience and Emma Watson seems to be the perfect face for Chanel House.
