Uma Thurman and Lancome will meet in Court

Uma Thurman and Lancome are suing each other.

Uma Thurman sued Lancome for using her image after their contract expired. She demands 15 million dollars for that.

The contract Uma Thurman had with Lancome expired in 2004, but in spite of that they continued to sell products all around the world with a little help from Uma’s advertisings.

Hearing somehow that they will be sued, Lancome sued Uma Thurman first, two days earlier.

This is kind of hilarious: dump before getting duped. Lancome declares that Uma was wrong in claiming her face was used for promotion in Canada and Asia later than her contract permitted it.

It seems that Lancome’s suit will take priority in court because it was filed first.
