Hot days of summer |
||
|
These days of summer the temperatures are getting very high. Too much heat can be a real threat to our health. So we thought it’ll be good to ask some specialists what can we do to handle the summer heat. And we’ve got some answers from a family doctor. 1. Drink a lot of water. When our bodies are trying to adjust their temperature in the hot days of summer, a lot of water is consumed. That’s why we need to continually hydrate. Drink at least 2 liters of water daily. Avoid alcohol and caffeine. 2. No intense physical activity. When the temperatures are very high avoid doing any physical activity. If you must do intense exercises do it early in the morning. 3. Easy-fitting clothes. The clothes you wear on a sultry day must be vaporous and white (or light colors). Don’t wear synthetic fabrics. |
