Galliano menswear fall-winter 2008

Galliano menswear fall-winter 2008

January 18th, Paris.
John Galliano ready-to-wear collection for men, fall- winter 2008- 2009.

Galliano’s designs for fall-winter 2008-2009 seem to have their origins in a noble and decadent English society.

The man of 2008’ fall is, in Galliano’s vision, strong, full of personality and creativity.

The jackets are covered with heavy furs creating the idea of a muscular, broad-shouldered man teleported from a lord’s party to the 2008’ modern fashion world.

John Galliano wanted to create a brilliant character, like Einstein, but the critics consider his designs to be more like Edgar Allen Poe.
