Paris, Menswear Spring/Summer 2009. This seems to be an austere season characterized by sobriety, chromatic seriousness and a mixture of formal contemporary and urban-sport.

John Galliano, Jean Paul Gaultier and Paul Smith were the few designers remarkable by their richness and glamour. John Galliano’s collection for spring/summer 2009 is unique, eccentric and extraordinary just like the designer.

The ingredients seem to be Quentin Crisp, India and the punk style.

Fluorescent colors, kilts, loose-fitting pants, lots of makeup and colorful wigs. Fashion is fun in Galliano’s concept.
