During winter the cold and low humidity can cause dry, irritated skin. This water-in-oil emulsion forms a protective layer on the skin and makes it more “moisturizing” than creams and lotions. Before going outside in winter you should apply a lot of to the face, hands, and any other skin that may be exposed to the cold. You should also protect your hands with warm gloves. One of the most common causes of itching and scratching is sweating and overheating, so you should dress in layers in order to be able to remove clothing when you feel warm. If you were out in the rain or the snow, you should get read of the wet clothes and shoes immediately because these can irritate your skin. |
