Harajuku street style

Japan invented Harajuku street style, a young, eccentric style for teenagers. Harajuku is a mixture of Lolita, black face and punk. The inspiration comes from cartoons like Manga.

The street is like a catwalk in a vibrating show. Eccentric hairstyles, bright makeup, atypical accessories, all these are part of Harajuku style.

Essential for Harajuku style is the many layers outfit: camisoles, tops, t-shirts, vests, coats, one after another, and all at sight.

The accessories must be flashy: handbags, earrings, brooches, bugles, and bracelets, all in very bright colors.

Even if Harajuku style might draw everybody’s attention, and criticisms sometimes, it is part of the international fashion, so just laugh and feel good in your skin.
