Luella Bartley spring-summer collection 2008

Luella Bartley spring-summer collection 2008

Luella Bartley used to be a successful fashion journalist. She used to be in the first row of the fashion shows deciding what’s hot and what’s out of fashion, which designers are on the right track and which should change their career. And suddenly she changed her career and became a fashion designer.

Since 2002 Luella Bartley is in the spot lights of the fashion shows and her designs are a must-have for almost all women in London. Her first collection is named “Daddy, who were The Clash?”.

Bartley’s outfits are always unusual: punk jackets with checked cotton skirts, little black dresses with white, red and blue spots, hippie accessories and leather handbags and shoes.

Luella Bartley spring-summer collection 2008, presented at the London Fashion Week, is a cool collection dedicated to those who like comic books and cartoons, a real Batman mania.

It has floral prints and acid colors and Luella Bartley herself describes it as “a little geek, but very sexy and very feminine.”
