Paul Costelloe, back in time
Well ladies, it seems like designers have done their best for the London Fashion Week presentation this year. Pallet of color and various styles, motives or trends, got up on the catwalk to defile in front of important guests and fashion critics.
The glorious week of glamor was opened by the British designer Paul Cotelloe, who presented the 2009 London summer collection.
Under the powerful spotlights and many critique sights, the designer’s models defiled in an array of military inspired suits, harem pants and brightly colored dresses.
The designer’s attempt to high line the look of the 1940’s African war was a success.
In a juxtaposing way of adopting various motives, Cotelloe, made appeal to the impeccable and modern cuts, as he slightly remained on a few trends with his cocoon skirted dresses and over sized collars.
Everyone was surprised when the show started in an array of military suits.
The balance was equally arranged as Cotelloe’s suits were not so very fashion forward.
In fact, they were beautifully tailored.
He tried to bring out very girly and yet sophisticated motives, guaranteed to stay on trend for the next season.
In comparison with Yves Saint Laurent's collection, it is more appropriate to admit that in fact, this is a collection that is worth wearing on the street.
Many designers attempted to induce the androgynous look as a must be trend, but their tries were in vain.
In fact, a powerful look can be offered through an eccentric suit worn with attitude.
The British are proud of Cotelloe and impatiently wait for his new collections for A/W 2009.
