Square prints

Now, you are allowed to combine as many squares you like, because the chess print is very trendy these days. As a tribute to this print, Domenico Dolce si Steffano Gabbana dedicated a whole seasonal collection to those materials which have square prints on them. Besides D&G, other debutant designers support the print as being the new trend of 2009.

Can you imagine yourself wearing more than a squared shirt?

Upgrade you closet with a full set of jackets, dresses, skirts, hats, scarves of trousers, all squared to satisfy fashion’s trend, for 2009 screams Scottish power.

Don’t be afraid to even wear a traditional kilt, but taking into consideration one condition: add a white, embroided or a silk blouse to balance the outfit.

Any combination of squares goes perfectly with a simple leather coat, a pair of knee high boots and wooden accessories.

The look is great even in an all tone outfit, but if you are not courageous enough you cam improvise a natural look.

Try wearing a squared blouse with a synthetic fur vest nipped in the waist with a belt.

It’s a bit edgy, but as Vivienne likes to say “you’ll have a better life if you wear impressive clothes”.

These geometrical prints have the power to generate favorable optical illusions to go with any silhouette.
