Vivienne Tam is a 25 years old designer born in China and raised in Hong Kong.
She launched her first collection under the name of East Wind Code inspired by the Chinese sign of fortune and luck.

Her real luck came in 1994 when the young designer presented her collection under her own name, Vivienne Tam.

She continued with presentations inspired by Buddha and Mao and her great success allowed her to open boutiques from Los Angeles to Tokyo, and to sell her designs in famous shops like Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, or Bloomingdale’s.

The Vivienne Tam style can be synthesized in a dear expression: “China chic”.

For the spring and summer of 2008 Vivienne Tam maintained her “China Chic” style with China cuts, China colors and China prints.
