The Fall-Winter, 2008 ready-to-wear collection of Viktor & Rolf has one precisely message: “NO”. Simple but strong, “no” is a little word but it is a heavy one too.

The Danish designers have build the hole collection around this message, transmitting a sexy attitude of the women who is being flourish by not willing to please everyone.

The word “no” and the phrase “dream on” were embroidered on the clothes, popping out in a 3-D form.

What Viktor and Rolf are transmitting is that beauty has a certain mystery which is conserved by women who are keeping it to themselves.

They also said “no!” to sewing, using golden staples, emanating an activist feeling to the show. This feeling was radiated also by the boots that they used.

Strong make up with glossy red lips and shadowed eyes, and again the message “NO”, drawn on the face.

For colors they had chosen grey, Bordeaux, red and dark green. Trenches and large pants, silky blouse with slim pants, A – skirts, all the pieces were given a certain feeling.

This collection was Viktor & Rolf’s personal statement of their place in fashion.
